We have a job opening for a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator to join our Civil and Building team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the Sewerage Treatment Plant (STP).

The ideal candidate will have a trade qualification in plumbing and relevant experience in wastewater treatment operations. You will also possess a Certificate III in Water Industry Operations &/or Waste Water Treatment, or be willing to obtain it. Current Confined Space Entry Training and prior experience would be highly regarded.

In this role, you will collect sewage samples and conduct laboratory tests to ensure the STP operates efficiently and effectively. You will also operate and maintain power generating equipment to provide steam and electricity for the plant.

During the winter season, you may be required to work on a set 5-day schedule with one weekend day per week. We offer competitive salary and benefits package, including free lift passes, discounts at food, rental and retail outlets, and staff events.
