Renal Support Specialist

Join our team of dedicated professionals as a Senior Social Worker in the Renal Supportive Care service. In this role, you will provide psychosocial support and care to patients, carers and relatives experiencing kidney disease.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting assessments, providing counseling interventions, and developing complex psychological support plans to enhance the quality of life and wellbeing of our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide psychosocial assessment and counseling services to renal patients, carers and relatives.
- Develop and implement individualized support plans to address the complex needs of our clients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A degree in social work or a related field.
- Postgraduate qualifications in renal supportive care or a related area would be highly regarded.
- Experience working with patients, carers and relatives experiencing kidney disease.
- Strong assessment and intervention skills, including experience in counseling and therapy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
