Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive geotechnical investigations, analysis, and reporting.
  • Undertake pavement design and condition assessments to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct slope stability analysis and remediation planning to mitigate risks and ensure structural integrity.
  • Supervise drilling operations, log boreholes, and conduct site/soil testing (DCP, Shear Vane, LWD, FWD) to gather critical data.
  • Oversee laboratory testing programs and earthwork compaction/control testing to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and specifications to support project delivery.
  • Assist with tenders and proposals, attend client meetings, and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing and professional development within the team.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil, Geotechnical, or Engineering Geology.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in geotechnical site investigation/reporting.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Australian driver's license and full local working rights.
