Job Opportunity for Market Risk Expert

We are seeking an experienced professional to provide oversight and quantification of non-traded market risks across the organization.

The ideal candidate will work closely with Group Treasury and operating units to:

  • Design and approve market risk frameworks
  • Monitor market risk positions within limits
  • Provide analytics and insights to senior management
  • Oversight of balance sheet risk opportunities and challenges

This is a key role in maintaining and developing effective IRRBB risk oversight across the organization's position, policy, and products. The selected candidate will contribute to the oversight of market risks, advising and challenging Group Treasury on market risk, and working with senior business partners to approve transactions and projects as required.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Graduate and/or relevant work experience in Treasury Front office or a Risk role overseeing Liquidity risk, Market Risk, and/or asset and liability management
  • A keen interest in learning and working in Market Risk
  • A practical approach to risk management and agility in thinking
  • Stakeholder and customer management skills and ability to communicate thoughts and ideas clearly
  • Demonstrated ability to extract and use quantitative data to support analysis
