Dynamic Motion Designer

About this position.

We're seeking a skilled motion designer to play a key part in establishing motion systems that are scalable, flexible, and aligned with our visual identity and product design standards.

This role will create, maintain, and expand motion design systems across multiple platforms, including 2D and 3D execution, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.

This is a mid-weight role with responsibility and autonomy, but not leadership or management.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Expertise in designing and building motion systems for use across product, marketing, and brand
  • Experience with reusable motion libraries and templates that support consistency
  • Strong communication skills to work closely with designers, engineers, and marketing teams
  • Able to deliver animations and motion graphics in both 2D and 3D environments
  • Ability to contribute to the evolution of our design system with motion as a key component
  • Skilled at documenting motion standards and workflows to support team adoption
  • Familiarity with industry tools and platforms and able to identify opportunities for improvement or innovation

Requirements include:

  • 3-5 years of experience in motion design, preferably across brand and product
  • Proficiency in After Effects, Cavalry, or similar motion design tools
  • Experience with 3D tools such as Blender or Cinema 4D
  • Understanding of motion systems and ability to create scalable, consistent assets
  • Strong foundation in animation principles, timing, and visual hierarchy
  • Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Willingness to work across disciplines and adapt to new tools and formats
  • Bonus: Experience with interactive or real-time environments, including web animation or game engines
