Engineering Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Inspector to join our team at Easy Skill. As an Engineering Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our road and bridge construction projects.

• Conduct thorough inspections of public works projects, including roadway construction, drainage structures, and bridges.
• Review and interpret plans, specifications, and construction procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and contractors to resolve issues and ensure project completion.
• Develop and maintain detailed reports and records of inspections and project progress.
• Assist in the development and implementation of quality control measures to ensure project quality and safety.
• Provide technical guidance and support to contractors and engineers on site.
• Participate in the development and maintenance of project schedules and budgets.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
• Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure continuous improvement.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in civil engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in public works roadway construction, stormwater, utilities construction, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

This role requires the ability to work in a variety of environments, including outdoors in inclement weather conditions. The successful candidate must be able to lift 50 pounds, carry, see, walk, stand, climb, push, pull, reach, crawl, kneel, and bend. The role also requires the ability to traverse uneven terrain and work in a variety of settings, including construction sites and offices.
