Engineering Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Inspector to join our team at Easy Skill. As an Engineering Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our public works projects.

• Conduct thorough inspections of public works projects, including roadway construction, drainage structures, and bridges.
• Review and interpret plans, specifications, and construction procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and other stakeholders to identify and resolve issues related to construction projects.
• Develop and maintain detailed reports and records of inspections and project progress.
• Provide technical guidance and support to contractors and engineers on site.
• Assist in the development and implementation of quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of workmanship.
• Participate in the investigation of complaints and issues related to public works projects.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
• Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; four years of experience in public works roadway construction, stormwater, utilities construction, or related fields.
• Knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices, including construction methods, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
• Physical demands: medium work, with ability to lift 50 pounds, carry, see, walk, stand, climb, push, pull, reach, crawl, kneel, bend.

This role requires working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including rain, cold, heat, humidity, and exposure to noise, vibration, fumes, odors, chemicals, dust, and insects. Ability to traverse uneven and undeveloped terrain.
