About The Role

The Salvation Army seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to lead its Aged Care Centre as the Centre Manager. Reporting to the Sydney based Area Manager, you will be responsible for operational management, supported by a Clinical Care Manager and a multidisciplinary team of care staff. Key areas of responsibility include compliance, staff management, financial management, occupancy, and AN-ACC elements.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • An understanding of the values and ethos of The Salvation Army, with the ability to promote them effectively.
  • Unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse through AHPRA.
  • Demonstrated financial management experience in residential aged care, with a proven track record of successfully managing budgets.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead staff in achieving organisational goals and objectives.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, professional standards, and guidelines applicable to the role.
  • Industry knowledge, particularly in business performance, including AN-ACC, occupancy, people management, and budget controls.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards while ensuring strong financial stewardship and business performance.
