Forklift Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced forklift service technician to join our team in Mackay, Queensland.
Job Description:The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering quality service to customers while performing scheduled maintenance and safety checks on material handling equipment. This role involves servicing and repairing forklifts and other material handling equipment, as well as utilizing field-based mobile technology to manage daily work schedules.
Key Responsibilities:- Servicing and repair of material handling equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks
- Utilizing field-based mobile technology to manage daily work schedules and track customer interactions
- Inventory input on service vans and customer sites, ensuring accurate records of work performed
- Prior experience as a forklift mechanic or service technician highly regarded but not essential
- Ability to perform scheduled maintenance, safety checks, and repairs on material handling equipment
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team
