The Opportunity

This company is seeking an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to join their Sydney team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the commercial management of high-profile refurbishment and upgrade projects, partnering closely with Project Managers, site teams, and senior leadership to ensure projects are delivered to a high standard.

The Role

  • Full contract administration and financial oversight of multiple live projects
  • Managing head contracts and subcontractor packages, including procurement and scope definition
  • Preparing, tracking, and managing variations, claims, and payment schedules
  • Cost reporting and forecasting in collaboration with senior stakeholders
  • Supporting compliance with all contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements
  • Assisting with commercial risk management and dispute resolution
  • Building trusted relationships with subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams

About You

  1. Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field
  2. 5+ years' experience in a Contract Administrator role, with recent experience at a senior level
  3. Proven track record working on complex commercial or institutional refurbishment projects
  4. Strong attention to detail and excellent understanding of construction contracts and cost control
  5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and reporting skills
  6. A proactive team player who enjoys taking ownership and driving project outcomes
