Wall Construction Specialist Job Description

The Bricklayer will be responsible for the construction of walls and other structures using various materials, including blocks, tiles, boards, and stone.

  • Analyzing and interpreting building plans to ensure accurate execution.
  • Interpreting work orders and determining the materials required for the job.
  • Erecting and dismantling restricted height scaffolding while adhering to safety protocols.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Laying bricks in rows, designs, and shapes, and spreading mortar between joints.
  2. Embedding blocks in mortar and removing excess mortar.
  3. Strengthening and sealing foundations with damp-resistant materials.
  4. Fastening bricks with wire clamps or cement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certificate III/IV in Bricklaying or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience.
