Senior Nursing Assistant

This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for a Senior Nursing Assistant to join our team at the Yorke and Northern Local Health Network. In this role, you will provide vital support to Enrolled and Registered Nurses in administering general care to residents/patients across various facilities.
We are seeking an experienced individual who can work collaboratively as part of a care team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. Your responsibilities will include maintaining a safe environment, both physically and culturally, for patients and staff. You must adhere to established guidelines, protocols, and standards set forth by the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Providing essential nursing tasks typically handled by Enrolled or Registered Nurses, such as assisting with personal care for patients and handling basic technical duties like preparing for nursing procedures, sanitizing equipment, and managing local inventory levels.
- Maintaining a safe environment, both physically and culturally, for patients and staff.
- Adhering to established guidelines, protocols, and standards set forth by the organization.
We offer a competitive salary package, including an estimated $29.80 per hour + 25% casual loading, plus additional benefits such as flexible working hours, access to education and training opportunities, and a supportive team environment.
