Network Engineer and System Administrator


Job Description:

As a Network Engineer and System Administrator, you will play a crucial role in creating and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will be responsible for supporting, monitoring, upgrading, and maintaining the company's network infrastructure and related documentation and policies.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting, monitoring, upgrading, and maintaining the company's network infrastructure and related documentation and policies
  • Providing guidance on installation of new/upgraded equipment for LANs, WANs, Internet, and intranet systems and network segments
  • Providing day-to-day support of Firewall, LAN/WAN, and Network Security systems
  • Working with systems administrators and support teams to ensure ongoing operations of voice, server, and desktop systems, along with associated voice network systems and mobile devices

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • BS degree in Networking/Information Systems or equivalent experience
  • Four years' experience in modern enterprise LAN/WAN systems
  • Two years' experience in Network security
  • Experience with VPN and Internet Proxy systems
  • Experience with Virtualized networking (ACI, VMware Distributed Switching, or NSX)
  • Familiarity with mixed network support of Windows and Linux/Unix based operating systems
  • Expert knowledge of DHCP, DNS, and TCP/IP and the OSI Model
  • In-depth knowledge of BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP
  • CCNA certified or equivalent work experience
  • Strong organizational, communications, and problem resolution skills
  • Personal computing experience, including Microsoft Office
