Computer Network And Systems Engineer

You will enhance and maintain existing system services, take responsibility for configuration management and overall operational readiness of network systems, especially environments with multiple operating systems and configurations.
Other responsibilities include: Determine what the organization needs in a network and computer system before it is set up Install all network hardware and software and make needed upgrades and repairs Maintain network and computer system security and ensure that all systems are operating correctly Collect data in order to evaluate the networks or system's performance and help make the system work better and faster Add users to a network and assign and update security permissions on the network Assessing and recommending improvements to network operations and integrated hardware, software, communications and operating systems of the Company Providing specialist skills in supporting and troubleshooting network problems and emergencies Monitoring and testing application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions and work with developers to implement those fixes Maintaining security, backup, and redundancy strategies Participating in the design of information and operational support systems SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONSQualifications : Bachelor degree in IT or Engineering or a related subject Skills : Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting UNIX / Linux based environments.
Solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks (e.g., Tomcat, JBoss, Apache, Ruby, NGINX)Solid Cloud experience, preferably in AWSExperience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Virtual Box)Experience with monitoring systems Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP / IP)There is an annual salary package of $100,000 plus super.
