As an Assistant in Nursing, you will provide essential support to our nursing and midwifery staff in delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support functions within units or other non-clinical areas
- Be allocated to clinical areas within your scope of practice
- Work collaboratively with the Registered Nurse to achieve specific outcomes
- Participate in clinical handover and maintain accurate records
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Certificate III or above in health-related studies (or equivalent)
- Evidence of vaccination against Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Hepatitis B
- Tuberculosis screening and declaration of serious discipline history
- Blue card/Working with Children Check and Criminal History Screening
