- Work collaboratively as part of the healthcare team, adhering to state legislation and scope of practice parameters.
- Respond to patient, visitor, and customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assist with patient transfers, using lifting equipment and bed movers as needed.
- Contribute to general housekeeping duties, including cleaning beds, organizing linen, restocking equipment, and waste management.
- Ensure the availability of clean linen and remove dirty linen as required.
- Operate in accordance with WHS policies and procedures, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to staff, clients, and patients, fostering a welcoming and friendly environment.
- Work collaboratively as an active team member to support all work tasks and contribute to a positive work culture.
- Australian work authority.
- Certificate III in Health Services Assistance/Assistance in Nursing.
- Experience in a hospital environment (desirable).
- Vaccination and serology records prior to commencement.
- Working with Children check/Blue Card.
- Commitment to service excellence.
- Ability to prioritize and organize work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of attention to detail.
