About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our residents, ensuring their health and wellbeing needs are met with professionalism and empathy. They will work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care and participate in quality activities to continually improve clinical practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and culturally appropriate nursing care based on individual care plans.
  • Monitor and report changes in residents' health status to the Clinical Care Coordinator.
  • Lead by example in health and safety practices and supervise a team, offering support and mentoring to nursing staff.
  • Undertake clinical decision-making and interventions to enhance residents' health outcomes.
  • Administer medications safely and in accordance with clinical standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver person-centred care.
  • Participate in quality activities to continually improve clinical practices.
  • Ensure accurate and thorough clinical documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current AHPRA RN Registration
  • Annual CPR certification
  • Commitment to ongoing CPD
  • Strong leadership, critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Previous experience in aged care or a similar healthcare setting preferred
  • Knowledge of Aged Care legislation and care planning desirable
