Graduate Teacher Position in Strathtulloh Primary School

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Teacher to join our team at Strathtulloh Primary School. As a Graduate Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, teaching a range of students and developing your skills and competencies as a classroom practitioner.
About the RoleThe primary focus of this role is on further developing your skills and competencies as a classroom practitioner, with structured support and guidance from experienced teachers. You will be responsible for planning and implementing a range of teaching programs or courses of study, teaching an area of the curriculum or a general curriculum to a year level, and monitoring, evaluating and reporting student progress in key learning areas.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and implement a range of teaching programs or courses of study
- Teach an area of the curriculum or a general curriculum to a year level
- Monitor, evaluate and report student progress in key learning areas
- Implement strategies to achieve targets related to student learning outcomes
- Maintain records of class attendance and recording student progress
- Implement effective student management consistent with the school charter

To be eligible for this role, you must have completed your teaching degree in the last 4 years and be currently registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
