Job Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated professional to join our team at Murray Vale Shalem Facility in Lavington. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing quality care, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based, resident-focused care that meets the needs of care recipients.
  • Assist residents in leading an active and meaningful life with as much independence as possible.
  • Serve as a role model for staff, offering guidance and support on clinical best practices for resident care.
  • Report to the Facility Manager and take on specific projects as assigned by the Facility Manager, Clinical Manager, or Nurse Supervisor / Consultant.
Requirements
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Bachelor of Nursing or an equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 12 months' post-registration experience.
  • Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office Suite (all applications).
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport.
  • Excellent interpersonal, active listening, and communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to plan and prioritise tasks in accordance with strict guidelines and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict management abilities.
  • Skilled in time, task, and priority management.
  • Previous experience in Residential Aged Care is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with LeeCare, Medsig, and other relevant systems (desirable).
  • Current First Aid & CPR certifications.
