Carpet Restoration Technician Job Opportunity

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Carpet Restoration Technician. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and delivering high-quality carpet restoration services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for the industry, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn and take on new challenges. In addition, they will possess intermediate MS Office skills, a manual driver's license, and a national police clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Learn and master the technical aspects of carpet construction, fibers, chemicals, and physical properties through formal training and ongoing development
  • Invoice customers and manage the quote-to-order process from start to finish
  • Keep vehicles and equipment stocked, clean, and well-maintained

Benefits:

  • Flexible working hours, Monday to Friday, between 8am-6pm, and every second Saturday
  • All equipment, uniforms, and a vehicle will be supplied

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a related field is advantageous but not essential
  • Manual driver's license
  • National police clearance
  • Permanent resident of Australia
  • Intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to problem-solve and achieve positive outcomes
  • Desire to learn and continue further industry training
  • Vaccination certificates desirable
  • Ability to thrive when working independently with minimal supervision
