\Medical Science Liaison Role\

The role of Medical Science Liaison is a pivotal one for our client, a leading global biotech company specialising in immunology.

\

We are expanding into Australia and seeking an experienced medical affairs professional to play a key part in pre-launch strategy and scientific engagement.

\

This unique opportunity allows you to help build the local medical function from scratch, working as part of a small, collaborative team that values a patient-first mindset, scientific excellence and a culture that encourages learning, development and professional growth.

\

Responsibilities:

\
  • Establishing strong partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in neurology, immunology and rare diseases
  • Leading pre-launch engagement and supporting the local execution of medical strategy
  • Representing the company at major scientific conferences and engaging with clinical trial sites
  • Using evidence-based communication to build advocacy and influence external decision-makers
\

Requirements:

\
  • A degree in a scientific or healthcare-related field (postgraduate qualifications are advantageous)
  • Previous experience in medical affairs or as an MSL within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Therapeutic experience or interest in rare disease, neurology, immunology, rheumatology or haematology
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with senior clinical stakeholders
