Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated professional to contribute to our teaching and learning efforts within the Doctor of Medicine (MD) program.

This is a targeted position for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals, with preference given to applicants of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in educational activities related to Indigenous Health in the MD curriculum.
  • Provide support for Indigenous students across the four years of the program, based at Camperdown campus and metropolitan clinical schools.
  • Act as a role model for Indigenous students, offering mentoring and guidance throughout their medical education journey.

About You:

  • You must identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and have a passion for Aboriginal people, culture, health, history, and change.
  • Evidence of strong links and respect within local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
  • A desirable background includes Allied Health or medical experience, or experience in Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations.

Work Environment:

Located on the Camperdown campus with occasional travel to Dubbo and Lismore campuses.
