Position Overview: We are currently looking for an Inventory Management and Pricing Analyst to enhance our operations. This role is essential in ensuring effective inventory oversight, refining pricing methodologies, and driving profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee stock levels, replenishment schedules, and demand forecasts to ensure optimal inventory availability while minimizing surplus or outdated stock.
  • Work closely with suppliers and logistics teams to facilitate smooth inventory transitions and mitigate stock shortages or excess.
  • Establish and communicate inventory control protocols, including reorder thresholds, periodic counts, safety stock levels, and optimal order quantities.
  • Conduct thorough pricing evaluations to identify ideal price points, taking into account market dynamics, competitor pricing, and product placement.
  • Assess pricing effectiveness and perform regular reviews to ensure alignment with corporate objectives, analyzing the effects of pricing adjustments on sales, revenue, and profit margins.
  • Utilize advanced analytical methods to derive insights from extensive datasets, recognizing trends, patterns, and areas for enhancement.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including sales, marketing, finance, and operations, to align inventory and pricing strategies with overall business goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, finance, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in inventory analysis, pricing analysis, or a comparable position.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with expertise in data analysis and interpretation.
  • In-depth knowledge of inventory management practices, pricing strategies, and statistical evaluation.
  • Proficiency in analytical tools, such as Excel, and data visualization applications.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills to articulate complex analyses and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

This position may require travel across various locations, thus a valid driver's license is necessary.
