Job Title: Inventory and Pricing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory and Pricing Specialist to join our team at GFG-Alliance. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient inventory management and optimizing pricing strategies to maximize profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels, demand forecasts, and pricing data to optimize stock availability and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
  • Collaborate with vendors and supply chain teams to ensure efficient inventory flow and reduce stockouts or overstock situations.
  • Implement and communicate inventory control measures, such as reorder points, cycle counts, safety stock levels, and economic order quantities.
  • Conduct pricing analysis to determine optimal price points, considering market trends, competitor pricing, and product positioning.
  • Monitor pricing performance and conduct regular price reviews and updates to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to extract insights and provide recommendations from large datasets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and align inventory and pricing strategies with organizational goals.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an inventory analyst, pricing analyst, or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Advanced knowledge of inventory management principles, pricing strategies, and statistical analysis.
  • Proficiency in using analytical tools, such as Excel, and data visualization software.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex analysis and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

This role involves traveling across multiple sites across Melbourne, hence a valid driver's license is essential.
