About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UX/UI Designer to join our team at Great Southern Bank. As a key member of our Digital Experience team, you will play a critical role in shaping the digital user experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of detailed experience designs from inception through to build and launch.
  • Translate high-level business requirements into tangible user interface proposals.
  • Design and develop for multiple devices using responsive design principles, usability, and customer-centric design.
  • Conduct heuristic reviews of existing interfaces and develop recommendations for ongoing optimization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand, align, and deliver a usable and engaging customer experience.

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in delivering digital experiences that create material value for customers and the organization.
  • Extensive experience with user-centered design principles and practices, web/mobile standards, typography, color, web/mobile usability standards, and IA.
  • Experience with developing, facilitating, and reporting on UX research that builds measurable value to the business.
  • Strong portfolio of UI design that showcases creativity and understanding of design principles and best practices.
  • Experience working with and contributing to UI Design Systems.
  • Experience designing online and mobile experiences in the banking sector.
