Job Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified peer reviewer to provide expert input on the Climate Vulnerability Assessment Report and associated materials.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess the technical accuracy of spatial data interpretation and environmental indicators in report content.
  • Evaluate the clarity, consistency, and logical structure of report content.
  • Ensure alignment with grant objectives and Council strategies.
  • Review the effectiveness of visual materials in communicating findings.

Deliverables:
  • Structured, actionable feedback on report tone, structure, and data presentation.
  • Identification of gaps or inconsistencies in analysis, interpretation, or literature references.
  • Suggestions for enhancements to improve readability and accessibility for non-technical audiences.

Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Urban/Regional Planning, Geography, Public Policy, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience in technical review, report editing, or subject matter peer review.
  • Familiarity with spatial data products and principles of climate risk communication.
  • Prior experience with grant-funded projects or local government settings is highly regarded.
