As a trusted crop consultant, you'll play a vital role in helping growers achieve their highest yields with sustainable solutions. Our network of over 2,000 locations in North America, South America, and Australia offers a wide range of products, including proprietary brands like Loveland Products, Inc.; ProvenSeed and Dyna-GroSeed; as well as financial, custom application, and precision ag services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop new business opportunities and engage with existing growers to increase agricultural inputs sales, meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Manage sales to achieve profit margin goals, ensuring customer satisfaction with timely and accurate delivery of high-quality products.
- Collaborate with growers to resolve agricultural issues, providing expert advice and recommending appropriate actions to address challenges.
- Implement strategies to boost sales of proprietary products, driving business growth and customer loyalty.
- Perform initial credit reviews to assess customer credit risk, providing necessary information to the Credit Manager to determine credit limits.
- Collect outstanding accounts receivables from customers, maintaining a positive and professional relationship.
- Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the success of our team.
- University degree preferred, or 5+ years of agriculture experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience using standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the agriculture industry, including the application of agricultural chemicals.
- Proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and other relevant software.
