Senior Applications Developer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Senior Applications Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative business systems and applications across the organisation.

Job Description:

This is a hands-on development role where you will work across a wide technology stack, partnering closely with stakeholders to deliver practical solutions. You will be key in ensuring our systems remain reliable and future-focused, while also driving opportunities for innovation and improvement.

  • Design, code, test, and deploy applications and databases.
  • Develop reporting solutions and technical documentation.
  • Provide technical support and system maintenance.
  • Collaborate with project managers, business specialists, and end users to deliver efficient and effective solutions.

You will work across various platforms and technologies, helping us improve operational efficiency while contributing to future-focused business systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in IT or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with web frameworks (MVC.NET, React, Angular, or Vue).
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, Azure cloud services (API Manager, Storage, Service Bus), and reporting tools (SSRS, PowerBI).
  • Familiarity with ERP and COTS systems such as JD Edwards or Dynamics 365.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
