Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Community Justice Pathways Worker.

This position requires a high level of cultural awareness and understanding, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience working with Aboriginal communities and a strong understanding of the justice system.

A degree in social work or a related field is highly regarded. Additionally, the successful applicant will be required to undergo training in cultural safety and awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide individualized support and case management to clients.
  2. Work collaboratively with other agencies and services to achieve optimal outcomes.
  3. Develop and implement culturally responsive programs and services.
  4. Engage with the local community to promote education and awareness about justice issues.

Requirements:

  • Degree in social work or a related field.
  • Experience working with Aboriginal communities.
  • Strong understanding of the justice system.
  • Cultural safety and awareness training.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of Indigenous culture and protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
