About the Role

Are you passionate about promoting diversity and inclusivity in education? Tradewind Australia is partnering with a co-educational K-12 Catholic School in Marsden Park to fill a permanent position for a Diversity Teacher who can make a meaningful impact on students' lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement inclusive learning programs that cater to diverse needs and abilities.
  • Collaborate with the Diversity Leader to ensure that diversity perspectives are integrated into all aspects of school life.
  • Support classroom teachers in identifying and addressing the needs of vulnerable students.
  • Design and deliver personalized learning plans that promote academic excellence and social inclusion.
  • Model inclusive teaching practices to enhance colleagues' skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to creating an inclusive learning environment that fosters respect, empathy, and understanding among students.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated on best practices in inclusive education.
Requirements
  • Qualifications in Inclusive Education or a related field.
  • Extensive experience as a classroom teacher with a proven track record of promoting diversity and inclusivity.
  • Expertise in CEDP's upper primary literacy and numeracy support programs or similar initiatives.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new approaches and technologies.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is AU$85,000 - AU$110,000, depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, Tradewind Australia offers:
