About the Role

This is a field-based Medical Science Liaison position, approximately 80% of time in-field, with a focus on Oncology and Breast Cancer. The successful candidate will be based in NSW North and cover RNSH, Northern Beaches, Concord, Westmead up to Tweed Heads, including areas such as Newcastle, Pt Macquarie and out to Orange and Bathurst.

The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, clinical science & medical, to drive projects from concept to execution. The ideal candidate will have strong scientific knowledge and commercial understanding, as well as the ability to communicate complex scientific content effectively.

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct medical review of promotional materials
* Act as an internal expert to support staff training
* Develop and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
* Provide unbiased, accurate, up-to-date medical and scientific knowledge to internal stakeholders

Requirements

* Australian trained Medical Doctor (MBBS) or Nurse (CNC or NP)
* Clinical experience in Oncology as either a specialty area (Registrar, NP) or on a clinical rotation
* Breast Cancer experience is highly regarded
* Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, including high emotional intelligence and the ability to engage in professional relationship-building and networking
