We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Mortgage Broker. As a trusted advisor, you will play a pivotal role in providing tailored lending solutions for businesses and individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify potential clients and cultivate relationships to drive commercial mortgage transactions.
- Analyze financial data and market trends to assess the feasibility of loan applications.
- Structure loan packages that meet unique client needs, considering factors such as loan-to-value ratios, debt service coverage, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate loan approval and closing processes.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients throughout the life of the loan, fostering long-term relationships.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in commercial lending, with a focus on mortgage brokerage.
- Strong understanding of commercial real estate markets, lending practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to maintain relationships with clients and industry partners.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to assess complex financial data and make informed decisions.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
- Proficiency in financial analysis software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CCIM, CFA) are beneficial.
