Aviation Freight Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Freight Handler to join our team at Melbourne Airport. This is an excellent opportunity for those who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and take pride in providing exceptional service.
The successful candidate will be responsible for handling freight, checking-in cargo, loading and unloading trucks using scanners and forklifts. To be successful in this role, you will require a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Below are the key responsibilities and requirements for the position:
Key Responsibilities:- • Breakdown freight/Check-in cargo • Load & unload trucks using scanners & forklifts. • Operate a forklift safely and efficiently
Requirements:
- • Current LF forklift license (desired) • Experience in a warehouse environment • Ability to work efficiently unsupervised and as part of a team. • Willing to work on a 24/7 rotating roster. • Willing to undergo a pre-employment medical check and obtain Aviation security card. • Must hold valid Australian drivers license
