We are a family-owned, plant-based cafe and bakery, Holycrop Pty Ltd, dedicated to using locally sourced, high-quality ingredients to create healthier and flavorful offerings for our community. We are a small team that values a fun work environment and a positive vibe for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Bakery Operations: Oversee the daily production of our approved menu, ensuring consistency and quality in all baked goods.
  • Menu Planning and Development: Collaborate with our team to create new menu ideas and specials, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and customer preferences.
  • Inventory Management: Responsible for maintaining accurate food stock, portion control, waste management, and receiving deliveries.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all equipment, appliances, and tools are used effectively and efficiently, adhering to our kitchen policies and procedures.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and support our team members, promoting a culture of teamwork, respect, and open communication.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Maintain high kitchen standards in food hygiene, safety, quality, and preparation, adhering to our company's policies and procedures.
  • Operational Efficiency: Collaborate with our chefs to improve kitchen efficiency, streamline processes, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
  • Trade Certificate IV in Bakery or Pastry: A minimum of 3 years' experience in managing a bakery section, with a proven track record of success.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team, communicate effectively with our owner and other team members.
  • Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Ability to remain calm under pressure, think critically, and adapt to changing situations.
  • Food Safety and Quality Knowledge: Understanding of food safety principles, with a focus on maintaining high standards in food quality and preparation.
