Catering Services Assistant Role

Job Description:

We are seeking a catering services assistant to assist with food preparation and customer service at one of our key education sites in Townsville.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with food preparation and presentation
  • Provide exceptional customer service to students
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene practices throughout the kitchen and dining areas
  • Restock supplies as required, including after meal periods
  • Dishwashing and cleaning duties

Required Skills:

  • Basic cooking skills and knowledge of food safety
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
  • High level of organisational skills
  • Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment and appliances
