Role Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst - Business Growth Specialist will contribute to the development of a high-performing finance function across APAC, partnering with leaders and teams in Australia. The role focuses on delivering actionable business insights to drive growth, profitability, and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning & Analysis
    • Provide regional performance analysis against targets, focusing on key metrics like customer profitability, SKU-level margins, and trade spend.
    • Conduct revenue, pricing, and margin analysis across products, channels, and customers to identify opportunities for growth and profitability.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting
    • Lead the rolling sales forecast process in collaboration with Sales and Production teams to ensure accurate financial projections.
    • Support financial planning based on market trends and operational plans to inform business decisions.
  • Business Intelligence
    • Develop and maintain data-driven dashboards using Power BI, ERP systems, and data warehouses to enhance business visibility.
    • Analyse large datasets from manufacturing, market sales, and consumer research to inform business strategies.
  • Business Partnering
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate financial insights and support business growth initiatives.
    • Evaluate the financial impact of trade promotions and customer investments to inform business decisions.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Communicate financial insights effectively to senior leaders and regional stakeholders to drive business outcomes.
    • Foster strong relationships across APAC and Group teams to support strategic decision-making and performance transparency.

Requirements

  • Education
    • Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 3 years in FP&A or commercial finance, preferably within a multinational environment operating across the Asia Pacific region.
  • Technical Expertise
    • Strong financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting capabilities.
    • Advanced Excel proficiency, including Power Query and Power Automate.
    • Familiarity with data warehousing, data management, and business intelligence tools.
  • Skills
    • Ability to clearly communicate complex financial insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Strong active listening skills to understand stakeholder needs and foster collaboration.
    • Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships across departments and levels.
