About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Tax Consultant to join our Research & Development Tax Incentive division. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in advising clients on tax-related matters and developing strategies to optimize their R&D incentives.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate R&D projects and identify eligible core and supporting R&D activities
  • Prepare R&D project plans, AusIndustry applications, and other supporting documents
  • Calculate eligible R&D expenditure and prepare R&D tax incentive schedules for inclusion in company tax returns
  • Assist in preparing materials for internal and external training sessions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or Accounting (or near completion)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Aptitude for learning and adapting to new concepts and technologies
