Job Description

ASC is a leading Australian company specializing in submarine design, project management, supply chain, construction, and engineering. We are currently seeking an experienced professional to lead our supply chain strategy and industry team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic business planning, commercial management, and risk management. They will also have experience in developing and implementing supply chain strategies that drive business growth and improve efficiency.

This role requires a high degree of resilience, adaptability, and negotiation skills. The successful candidate will be able to establish and maintain key stakeholder relationships and balance conflicting priorities to deliver against customer requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in commerce, supply chain, or a related field
  • Minimum 10 years relevant business experience and knowledge of the Australian defence industry landscape
  • Experience with strategic business planning, commercial and program management, and risk management
  • Experience in strategic supply chain capability development and uplift
  • Active and influential team player with high degree of resilience and adaptability
  • Highly developed negotiation, communication, and customer relations skills
  • Ability to balance conflicting priorities to deliver against customer requirements
  • Ability to establish and maintain key stakeholder relationships
  • Strong analytical, financial, and commercial skills
  • Strategic thinking and ability to influence on all levels
  • Change champion, fostering continuous improvement
