Senior Security Clearance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Security Vetting Analyst to lead our team in Brisbane, handling complex personal security clearance processes across various security levels.
This role requires a high degree of autonomy and the ability to work independently, assessing clearance cases with attention to detail and managing complex processes effectively.
- Process security clearances meticulously, adhering to the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and industry best practices.
- Conduct thorough Quality Assurance checks on Personal Security Files (PSFs), ensuring alignment with standard procedures and the PSPF.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to deliver efficient caseload management and execution.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in vetting Government or similar high-security environments, a minimum Negative Vetting Level 1, with the opportunity to upgrade to Negative Vetting 2 as required, and a relevant certification such as Certificate IV in Government (Personnel Security Vetting).
Leadership experience is essential, with a drive to mentor and lead a team of enthusiastic security analysts. Attention to detail is critical, with meticulous scrutiny of extensive data and identification of potential security risks.
