Commodity Market Analyst

This position is critical to our global commodity coverage, focusing on the metallurgical coal and coke market. As a key member of our reporting team, you will track supply and demand fundamentals, develop pricing insights, and produce high-quality content that informs our indexes.
Responsibilities- Monitor industry trends and analyze data to inform market reports.
- Develop in-depth articles on big picture issues impacting supply side economics, including policy developments and geopolitics.
- Build strong relationships with sources, clients, and industry stakeholders through effective communication and engagement.
- Contribute to business development efforts by maintaining sales pipelines and assisting account managers in the sales process.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the commodity space as a reporter or researcher.
- Excellent quantitative skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Finance, or Politics, or equivalent experience.
