We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Financial Planning Assistant to join our Wealth Management Division. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their career in financial planning.
The successful candidate will have recently completed their undergraduate degree in Finance or Commerce and possess previous work experience in an administrative or client service capacity, ideally gained from financial services. A Diploma of Financial Planning (DFP) / RG 146 qualification is advantageous but not essential. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, are also required.

Key Responsibilities:- Contact product providers to complete research on investment, superannuation and insurance products.
- Update client database software using XPLAN and NetSuite.
- Prepare letters of engagement for all new clients, and prepare tax packs for all mutual clients.
- Assist the wealth team to prepare review packs for existing clients.
- Manage the wealth team inbox and distribution of mail to relevant personnel.
- Support the wealth team with special projects including business improvement initiatives.
- Assist the wealth team in managing client data and documentation.
- Recently completed undergraduate degree in Finance or Commerce (or similar discipline).
- Previous work experience in an administrative or client service capacity, ideally gained from financial services.
- Diploma of Financial Planning (DFP) / RG 146 qualification advantageous but not essential.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A demonstrable interest in financial planning.
- The desire and ability to work in a team environment.
