About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at our Port Macquarie facility. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing world-class military equipment used in operations around the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical systems and components using AutoDesk Inventor suite of products.
- Program and operate CNC machines to manufacture high-quality parts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design and manufacturing meet customer requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to continuously improve design and manufacturing processes.
Requirements
- Degree qualified mechanical engineer with 2 or more years of experience.
- Trained and competent in CNC machining and programming.
- Familiar with AutoDesk Inventor suite of products.
- Positive and constructive mindset with a bias to action.
