Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist

Our team supports individuals with illness, disability, or injury to maximize their potential and achieve their goals. This role involves collaborating with injured workers, employers, and internal teams to provide safe, sustainable opportunities for workers to re-enter the workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help people return to work or obtain new employment and live their best lives.
  • Work collaboratively to provide safe opportunities for workers to re-enter the workforce.
  • Contribute to achieving return to work goals through job skills development, confidence building, and promoting independence.
  • Empower clients to effectively present their skills and abilities when seeking employment.
  • Broker new employment opportunities in local areas.
  • Build strong relationships with local employers and organizations.
  • Complete progress reports on a regular basis.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Occupational and/or Vocational Rehabilitation is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in Employment services/Disability Employment or recruitment is essential.
  • Strong resume writing skills are necessary.
  • A passion for assisting people to gain employment and enhance their careers is required.
  • The ability to grow our services and build strong relationships with key customers is essential.
  • Understanding of the local labour market is advantageous.
  • A current driver's license and motor vehicle are necessary.
