Chief Cyber Security Specialist

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cyber Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information security and be able to provide expert guidance on cybersecurity strategies and best practices.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze security systems to detect and prevent cyber threats, ensuring the integrity of our systems and data.
- Investigate and report on suspected policy breaches, recommending mitigation strategies to prevent future occurrences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective cybersecurity policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies, providing recommendations for continuous improvement and innovation.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors and partners, to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity.
- Proven track record of success in a similar role, with expertise in security protocols, risk management, and compliance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Foundational certifications in cybersecurity, such as CompTIA Security+ or CISSP, with ongoing training and professional development.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks, regulations, and standards, including NIST and ISO 27001.
