Nurse Practitioner Opportunity

Job Description

As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in our Oncology ward. You will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to support patient needs and act as a role model for safe practice.

You will administer medications according to state law and organisation policy, and have demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development. Current Registration with AHPRA and minimum 1-year acute experience are required.

Med and IV endorsement is also necessary. Your commitment to quality patient care and compliance with ACSQHC National standards will ensure the delivery of excellent care.

Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to work well independently and within a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care to individuals/groups under the direction and supervision of the RN
  • Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
  • Act as a role model for Safe Practice
