Job Title:

A Clinical Nurse Specialist is required to join our oncology day infusion unit on a temporary basis.

  • The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided and will support the nursing team with planning, assessment, implementation and evaluation of excellent standard of evidence based, person centred care
  • Key qualifications include current AHPRA registration and 3 years experience within an acute environment
  • Team leader or in-charge nursing experience is desirable
Responsibilities:
  • Support the nursing team with planning, assessment, implementation and evaluation of excellent standard of evidence based, person centred care
  • Demonstrate professional practice as evidenced by adhering to AHPRA professional standards, code of ethics and conduct, legislative requirements and policies and processes
  • Act as a valued member of the inter-disciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care by actively contributing to team processes and practices

Requirements:
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • 3 years experience within an acute environment
  • 1-year minimum team leader or in-charge nursing experience (desirable)
  • Compliance with National standards
  • Ability to show initiative and work within a team environment
  • Passion for teaching, educating and up-skilling staff
