About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Project Director to lead our WA-based delivery team for key Defence projects in a client-side project management capacity.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in delivering complex Major and Mega Construction and Infrastructure Projects, with a proven track record of managing teams and stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all stakeholder relationships to ensure a high level of performance in relation to time, cost, and quality requirements
  • Manage and develop project resources to achieve current and future project and business objectives
  • Strategically plan and deliver project requirements to ensure a high level of client satisfaction
  • Deliver high-quality service in consideration of time and cost constraints
  • Monitor project deliverables to ensure compliance with quality and time requirements
  • Assist with development and implementation of project programs, including concept planning, design, implementation, and close-out phases
  • Manage and administer contracts, including invoices, reports, and other deliverables within deadlines
  • Participate in project and process audits
  • Assist in selected future bids, proposals, business development, and conversion activities
  • Manage RPS commercial interests in relation to client engagements
About You

We are looking for a driven and energetic professional with strong presentation and communication skills, who is confident in taking the initiative to proactively solve problems and achieve outcomes.

You will be a people person, with a strong network and ability to build and maintain valuable relationships with stakeholders.

You will also have a proven track record of leading and developing teams to achieve exceptional results for clients.

Requirements
  • 15+ years of recent construction and/or consulting project management experience across large-scale, complex construction, and infrastructure projects
  • Professional qualifications in project management, engineering, construction management, or similar
  • Planning or development and delivery phase experience
  • Managing contractor experience (preferred)
  • A clear understanding of directing and managing projects through all approval processes
  • Proven experience with a range of delivery methodologies and contracts relating to large-scale construction projects
  • AIPM Certified Practicing Project Director certification or equivalent (desirable)
