About this role

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to join our team as a Business Partner. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic thinker who can develop and implement effective HR solutions.

As a trusted advisor, you will provide expert guidance on recruitment, organisational development, employee relations, and human resource requirements. You will collaborate across teams to draw on HR expertise in areas including workforce planning, employee relations, learning and development, and performance management.

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to work under pressure, and have a high level of proficiency in written and verbal communication. They will also have extensive experience in developing productive relationships with key stakeholders, strong organisational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate and timely advice on HR queries, in accordance with policy and procedure.
  • Develop and implement strategic change initiatives, including cultural improvement programs and leadership development programs.
  • Support the development of HR strategies, focusing on continuous improvement in line with business objectives.
  • Interpretation of industrial awards and decisions.
  • Provide training on identified areas of need within the scope of operations.
  • Develop strategies to improve current systems, processes and policies which provide benefit to the business unit and the organisation.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years experience in an HR generalist partnership role.
  • Diploma qualification in HR or Business Management or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of SCHADS award highly desirable.
  • Disability service industry experience preferred.
  • Hold a current 'C' class driver's license.
  • Working with Childrens Clearance
  • NDIS Workers Check
  • Fully Covid Vaccinated
  • Experience in utilising HR systems and Microsoft office suite
  • Experience in high volume recruitment environments.
