Job Opportunity

A professional and adventurous family in Paddington is seeking an experienced and nurturing nanny to care for their two boys aged 12 months and 3 years.

The role involves a regular schedule of 4 days per week with a total of 29 hours. The typical day includes:

  • Tuesday: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
  • Wednesday: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
  • Thursday: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
  • Friday: 8:30 am – 12:00 pm

The ideal candidate will be a great communicator, able to adopt a firm but fair approach, and engage the children in fun age-appropriate activities.

Mum works from home occasionally and is out at meetings and appointments. During nap times, the nanny will assist with meal preparation and light housework.

Responsibilities

The carer's main responsibilities include:

  • Caring for both children throughout the day
  • Engaging in activities to support the children's development
  • Preparing healthy meals and snacks
  • General tidying and light household chores
Requirements

We are looking for someone with:

  • At least 2 years' experience as a nanny or in childcare
  • Childcare qualifications preferred
  • A full driver's license (option to use your own car or the family car)
  • A current first aid certificate
  • A current Working With Children's Check
  • Strong communication skills and English language proficiency
  • Non-smoking status
