Full Time Family Nanny Required

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible full-time nanny to care for our two children. The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing daily care for young children, including meal preparation, errands, and light housework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Care for the 3-year-old girl and 6-month-old boy
  • Follow their routine
  • Play and engage with them
  • Responsible for pick up and drop off from ELC (via trams/public transport)
  • Take the child to activities, i.e., playground, walks, and to the park/playgrounds and out on adventures (Non-school days)
  • Help prep/cook meals and snacks for the 3-year-old and prep an evening family meal
  • Homework assistance
  • Light housework, laundry, tidying as required
  • Run errands
  • Grocery shop
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5+ years nanny or childcare experience
  • Current first aid certificate
  • Current Working with Children's Check
  • Strong communication skills and English language proficiency
  • Child safety practices
  • Basic knowledge of food prep/cooking meals

The ideal candidate will be engaging, fun to be around, but also nurturing, calm, and patient. They should be able to structure their day, be independent, design new routines, and provide fun, creative, and stimulating indoor and outdoor activities that will assist in the child's development.
